AKA "Tofu of 7th" aka "Authentic Szechuan". This same restaurant now has three locations listed here on Yelp.
Anyway, to reiterate from my other reviews, this is hands down some of the best Szechuan food in Brooklyn. The typical Chinese-American fare is solid, though where this place really excels is in regards to their chef's specials, and house specialties menu. I'm a big fan of the triple pepper chicken. -

Ordered through seamless, mapo tofu, spice level 5, hot and sour soup, spice level 10, steam dumplings.
I think their steamed dumplings were from a frozen package...
Mapo tofu ended up being quite a bit spicer than the soup. Not too sure why they requested that I add on what my preference is when they don't follow it. Tofu seemed to be spiced with extra chili oil, it came drenched in oil. -

Food isn't as good as Authentic Szechuan on 5th ave. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it just lacks taste, like how fresh food tastes better than old food. Not bad and def cheaper than Authentic

The Mapo Tofu is the best I've had in this city. Unfortunately nothing else was that good. Still 4 stars bc the Mapo Tofu is THAT good. Great place to have a looong dinner to catch up with friends bc they have booths and don't rush you.

I tried to place a vegetarian order and wanted delivery.
They hung up on me, refused to give details about what vegetarian options they have and stated "your not ordering...?now you know for next time goodnight" before I could even order!! Not even going to bother ordering!
